Congratulations to the 2022 GHSA / Dr. Lucia Norwood Gymnastics State Champions, Buford (6A-7A) and North Oconee (1A-5A), after two days of prelims & finals competition on April 20 & 22 at Buford Arena. The Lady Wolves compiled 113.900 points to beat out second-place Carrollton (111.715). Buford’s last championship was in 2016, after a runner-up finish a year ago. North Oconee (113.746) won its fourth straight 1A-5A division title bettering upstart Bremen, 113.800 - 103.075.
