The 2018 GHSA Team Dual Wrestling State Championships were held Jan. 11-13 at the Macon Coliseum, where for the first time all mats and all matches were streamed live on NFHS Network and TrackWrestling.
Congratulations to the 2018 State Champions: Camden County, Richmond Hill, Buford, Jefferson, North Hall, Social Circle and Commerce. It was the inaugural team dual title for Richmond Hill and North Hall. While Jefferson captured their 17th straight championship, with multiple consecutive state wins earned by Commerce (5), Camden (4), Social Circle (4) and Buford (2). View past state champions.
Much appreciation goes to the Atlanta Takedown Association, Team Georgia, Macon Coliseum, Sports Medicine South/Gwinnett Medical Center, US Army, Georgia Army National Guard, Georgia Farm Bureau, Resilite mats, Takedown Sportswear, NFHS Network, TrackWrestling, Gatorade, officials, table workers, and all the volunteers that worked hard to host a successful event.
